The JamDoughnut app says it can save you over £800 per year when you shop. But how does this cashback app work, and can you really save that much money? Plus, I’ll share with you my referral code so you can get a £2 bonus to get you started.

JamDoughnut is a cashback app with a difference. Instead of clicking on a link before you make a purchase, you’ll need to buy a gift card. But for doing so, you’ll earn points which can be swapped for cash. 

How does JamDoughnut work?

First, you’ll need to download the app from the App Store or Google Play and create an account. It should only take a couple of minutes.

Then, it’s a case of looking through the retailers listed on the app. When you find a shop that you use, buy a gift card for however much you need. Amounts vary, but it’s usually a minimum of £1 up to a maximum of £100. Your gift card can then be used towards any purchase with that store.

Which stores are included?

At the moment, there are over 140 stores listed on the app. If you’ve used a cashback site, you’ll know that stores can come and go. But at the moment, shops include
